Digital ID available

Arizona was one of the first states to launch a digital ID. It is supported in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, and Arizona also has its own state app (AZ MVD Now).

  1. 1Open the Wallet app on your iPhone (iOS 15.4 or later required).
  2. 2Tap the + button and choose 'Driver's License or State ID'.
  3. 3Select Arizona from the state list.
  4. 4Scan the front and back of your Arizona driver license or ID card.
  5. 5Complete the face and motion scan to verify your identity.
  6. 6Your request is sent to the Arizona MVD. You'll get a notification once it's approved — usually within minutes.

  1. 1Open Google Wallet on your Android phone.
  2. 2Tap + and select 'ID documents', then 'Driver's license or state ID'.
  3. 3Choose Arizona.
  4. 4Scan the front and back of your physical Arizona ID.
  5. 5Complete the selfie step to verify your identity.
  6. 6Arizona MVD will process and approve your digital ID within a few minutes.

  2. 2Sign in or create a ServiceArizona account.
  3. 3Tap 'Add Mobile ID' from the home screen.
  4. 4Scan the front and back of your Arizona driver license or ID.
  5. 5Complete the identity verification selfie.
  6. 6Your Mobile ID will appear in the app once approved.
