Digital ID available

Arizona was one of the first states to launch a digital ID. It is supported in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, and Arizona also has its own state app (AZ MVD Now).

Apple Wallet Available
  1. 1 Open the Wallet app on your iPhone (iOS 15.4 or later required).
  2. 2 Tap the + button and choose 'Driver's License or State ID'.
  3. 3 Select Arizona from the state list.
  4. 4 Scan the front and back of your Arizona driver license or ID card.
  5. 5 Complete the face and motion scan to verify your identity.
  6. 6 Your request is sent to the Arizona MVD. You'll get a notification once it's approved — usually within minutes.

Google Wallet Available
  1. 1 Open Google Wallet on your Android phone.
  2. 2 Tap + and select 'ID documents', then 'Driver's license or state ID'.
  3. 3 Choose Arizona.
  4. 4 Scan the front and back of your physical Arizona ID.
  5. 5 Complete the selfie step to verify your identity.
  6. 6 Arizona MVD will process and approve your digital ID within a few minutes.

  1. 1 Open Samsung Wallet on your Samsung device.
  2. 2 Tap + and select 'ID'.
  3. 3 Choose Arizona.
  4. 4 Scan the front and back of your Arizona driver's license or ID.
  5. 5 Complete the identity verification step.
  6. 6 Arizona MVD will verify and approve your digital ID.

  1. 1 Download the AZ MVD Now app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. 2 Sign in or create a ServiceArizona account.
  3. 3 Tap 'Add Mobile ID' from the home screen.
  4. 4 Scan the front and back of your Arizona driver license or ID.
  5. 5 Complete the identity verification selfie.
  6. 6 Your Mobile ID will appear in the app once approved.
