The myColorado app now offers two separate credentials: a standard mDL (add before you fly — accepted at Denver International Airport and other TSA checkpoints nationwide) and the older Colorado Digital ID (dDL), a non-standard credential for in-state use only that is not TSA-accepted. Both live in the myColorado app; the mDL is also available in Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and Samsung Wallet. Neither replaces your physical ID — keep carrying it.

3. 3Tap to add your mobile driver's license (mDL) from the home screen.
4. 4Scan the front and back of your Colorado driver license or ID.
5. 5Complete the liveness/selfie check.
6. 6Your mDL will appear in the app after approval. Add it before arriving at the airport to ensure it's ready for TSA screening.
