Hawaii supports digital ID in Apple Wallet. Google Wallet and Samsung Wallet are not currently supported.

  1. 1Open the Wallet app on your iPhone (iOS 15.4 or later required).
  2. 2Tap the + button and choose 'Driver's License or State ID'.
  3. 3Select Hawaii from the state list.
  4. 4Scan the front and back of your Hawaii driver's license or ID card.
  5. 5Complete the face and motion scan to verify your identity.
  6. 6Your request is sent to the Hawaii DOT. You'll receive a notification once approved — usually within a few minutes.
