Digital ID available

Hawaii supports digital ID in Apple Wallet. Google Wallet and Samsung Wallet are not currently supported.

Apple Wallet Available

1 Open the Wallet app on your iPhone (iOS 15.4 or later required).
2 Tap the + button and choose 'Driver's License or State ID'.
3 Select Hawaii from the state list.
4 Scan the front and back of your Hawaii driver's license or ID card.
5 Complete the face and motion scan to verify your identity.
6 Your request is sent to the Hawaii DOT. You'll receive a notification once approved — usually within a few minutes.
