New York supports digital ID through the NY MiD app. Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and Samsung Wallet are not currently supported.

  1. 1 Download the NY MiD app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. 2 Create or sign in to your NY.gov account.
  3. 3 Follow the in-app prompts to scan the front and back of your New York driver's license or ID.
  4. 4 Complete the identity verification step.
  5. 5 Your Mobile ID will be available in the app once approved by the New York DMV.
