Puerto Rico supports digital ID in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Samsung Wallet is not currently supported.

  1. 1Open the Wallet app on your iPhone (iOS 15.4 or later required).
  2. 2Tap the + button and choose 'Driver's License or State ID'.
  3. 3Select Puerto Rico from the list.
  4. 4Scan the front and back of your Puerto Rico driver's license or ID card.
  5. 5Complete the face and motion scan to verify your identity.
  6. 6Your request is sent to Puerto Rico DTOP. You'll receive a notification once approved — usually within a few minutes.

  1. 1Open Google Wallet on your Android device.
  2. 2Tap + and select 'ID documents', then 'Driver's license or state ID'.
  3. 3Choose Puerto Rico.
  4. 4Scan the front and back of your Puerto Rico driver's license or ID.
  5. 5Complete the selfie step to verify your identity.
  6. 6Puerto Rico DTOP will process and approve your digital ID within a few minutes.
