Puerto Rico supports digital ID in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Samsung Wallet is not currently supported.

Apple Wallet Available
  1. 1 Open the Wallet app on your iPhone (iOS 15.4 or later required).
  2. 2 Tap the + button and choose 'Driver's License or State ID'.
  3. 3 Select Puerto Rico from the list.
  4. 4 Scan the front and back of your Puerto Rico driver's license or ID card.
  5. 5 Complete the face and motion scan to verify your identity.
  6. 6 Your request is sent to Puerto Rico DTOP. You'll receive a notification once approved — usually within a few minutes.

Google Wallet Available
  1. 1 Open Google Wallet on your Android device.
  2. 2 Tap + and select 'ID documents', then 'Driver's license or state ID'.
  3. 3 Choose Puerto Rico.
  4. 4 Scan the front and back of your Puerto Rico driver's license or ID.
  5. 5 Complete the selfie step to verify your identity.
  6. 6 Puerto Rico DTOP will process and approve your digital ID within a few minutes.
